Privacy Policy for dsend

dsend is a simple utility app that helps users open WhatsApp chats without saving phone numbers as contacts.

Information We Collect

dsend does not require users to create an account.

dsend does not collect your name, phone numbers, contacts, message text, message templates, favorites, or recent numbers. These stay on your device and are never sent to us or to any third party.

Phone numbers entered into the app are used only on the user's device to create a WhatsApp chat link. We do not send phone numbers to our own servers or to any advertising or analytics provider.

Recent numbers may be saved locally on the user's device to improve the app experience. This data stays on the device and is not uploaded to us.

To keep the app free, dsend uses Google AdMob (advertising) and the Meta (Facebook) SDK (install attribution and anonymous usage measurement). Together these collect a device advertising identifier and anonymous app-activity events (for example: app opened, WhatsApp opened, returning use), optionally with a two-letter country code. Where consent is required (including the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), this collection runs only after you agree, and you can change your choice at any time under Settings > Privacy & ad settings.

Advertising and Measurement

dsend displays ads using Google AdMob and attributes app installs and measures aggregate usage using the Meta (Facebook) SDK.

Google AdMob and Meta may collect device information, advertising identifiers, and usage / app-event data according to their own privacy policies. dsend shares with them only anonymous app-event names (such as app opened, WhatsApp opened, returning use), an optional two-letter country code, and the advertising identifier. dsend never shares phone numbers, contacts, message content, templates, favorites, or recent numbers.

If you decline consent where it is offered, the app keeps working normally.

Analytics

dsend uses anonymous, aggregate analytics to understand app usage, such as app opens, WhatsApp open actions, and returning use.

Events are anonymous and are used to measure advertising and improve the app. We do not use analytics to identify you personally, and we never include phone numbers, contacts, or message content in any analytics event.
